Brentford 6/4 to beat Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Brentford win

Odds: 6/4 @ Bet 365

Desperately looking to carry on their push to the top half of the table, Brentford will travel to a struggling City Ground on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, despite flirting with the playoff positions at the end of 2018, Nottingham Forest have been worryingly short of form entering the New Year. In their 30 Championship games this season, they have won 10, drawn 12 and lost eight, scoring 42 and conceding 35 in return. With a points tally of 42, the Reds could end the weekend as far down as 16th in the table. As for their recent run of results, Forest have now lost four of their last five matches across all competitions and have also lost three of their last five matches at the City Ground.

As for the visitors, really appearing to refind their form in the second half of the Championship campaign, Brentford will be looking to mount a push back to the top half of the table. In their 29 games this season, they have won nien, drawn 10 and lost 10, scoring 48 and conceding 41 in return. Also holding a game in hand on the teams around them, no team in the bottom half of the table holds a better-attacking record. As for their recent run of form, the Bees are now unbeaten in their last 10 matches, also winning four of their last five outings.
