Brentford 13/10 to win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in tonight’s Championship clash

Posted March 14th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Championship
Market: Brentford to win against Wolves
Odds: 13/10 @ William Hill

Brentford welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Griffin Park in the Championship this evening, and are favourites to come out on top to move into the top-half, while sending the visitors closer to the relegation zone as the season closes in.

Dean Smith’s Brentford side are currently 14th in the Championship table with 47 points from 36 games this season, coming off the back of three wins from their last five. On home soil, Brentford have won two and drawn on their previous four, and will fancy their chances against a Wolves side in freefall and struggling on the road.

As for Paul Lambert’s men, Wolverhampton Wanderers find themselves 20th in the division with 39 points, having lost four of their last six games. Wolves have picked up just one win from their previous half a dozen away outings this season, and risk being caught by sides in a relegation battle if they don’t arrest the slide soon.

A win for Brentford would see them move two places up the table, while Wolves would finish the day only one point above the drop zone and level on games with Blackburn occupying 22nd place. William Hill are giving odds of 13/10 for Brentford to win against Wovles.
