Brazil 4/9 to win tomorrow night’s international friendly against Austria
Competition: International friendly
Market: Brazil to win against Austria
Odds: 4/9 @ Bet 365
Ahead of their friendly against Austria, Brazil have recovered well after their World Cup humiliation under new manager Dunga, with the Samba Boys having won their last five international friendlies without conceding a goal. With victories against Colombia (1-0), Ecuador (1-0), Argentina (2-0), Japan (4-0) and Turkey (4-0), Brazil are once again a team to be feared.
Their infamous 7-1 defeat to German in the World Cup semi-finals was undoubtedly one of the lowest points in their history, but recent form suggests it was a one-off. They face Austria tomorrow evening, and will be confident of coming away with a win given how well they’ve been playing.
Bet 365 are giving odds of 4/9 for Brazil to win against Austria when the two sides meet on Tuesday.
Austria are no slouches, however. They haven’t lost a game this year, while seeing past the likes of Moldova (2-1), Russia (1-0) and Montenegro (1-0) in their Euro 2016 qualifying group. They have 10 points from four games, and are in pole position to earn automatic qualification into the European Championships.
