Brazil 4/9 to win against Peru in Monday’s Copa America clash
Competition: Copa America
Market: Brazil to win against Peru
Odds: 4/9 @ William Hill
Brazil lock horns with Peru in their final Copa America Centenario Group B clash at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Monday morning, and are favourites to come out on top to book their place in the knockouts as group winners.
Brazil are currently top of the table with four points from their two games, and could open up a three-point lead over second-placed Peru with a win next week. While held in their opener in the Copa America to Ecuador, Brazil enjoyed a 7/1 win over Haiti to put themselves in pole position to qualify for the next round.
Third-place Ecuador are two points adrift of Brazil and Peru, and will be looking to capitalise as they’re expected to win against Haiti. Peru are no slouches, locked on points with Brazil, so they won’t be a walkover by any means. Ahead of the tournament, Peru had won back-to-back games against Trinidad & Tobago and El Salvador, but Brazil will be their biggest test.
And with the samba Boys coming into some recent form following their thrashing of Haiti, William Hill are giving odds of 4/9 for Brazil to win against Peru on Monday to finish top of Group B.
