Brazil 13/20 to win against Peru in Wednesday’s World Cup Qualifier
Competition: World Cup Qualifier
Market: Brazil to win against Peru
Odds: 13/20 @ William Hill
Brazil travel to the Estadio Nacional to face Peru in Wednesday’s World Cup Qualifier, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to stay top of their qualifying group. Brazil look on course to qualify for the World Cup in emphatic fashion, and will keep their spot at the summit with a win over the struggling Peruvians.
Brazil find themselves top of the South American Qualifying group with 13 points from six games, having scored 15 goals and conceding four. The hosts have lost to Peru recently, suffering a 1-0 defeat in June in the Copa America, but the two sides are having contrasting fortunes now which should see a reverse in result.
Peru are just one place above the drop zone in the group with four points from a possible 18. The visitors have conceded 13 goals, and have seen wins few and far between ahead of Wednesday’s clash. Peru are already six points off a top-four spot, meaning their chances of automatic progression is slim.
Their form is likely to see them falling short of qualifying, and the superior results of Brazil of late is likely to yield a home win. William Hill are giving odds of 13/20 for Brazil to win at the Estadio Nacional as a result on Wednesday.
