Newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth host surprise-package Leicester City in the Premier League this afternoon, with both sides looking to build on recent momentum. The Cherries finally ended their wait for a league victory with an entertaining seven-goal thriller against West Ham United, while Leicester City continue their early season dominance under new manager Claudio Ranieri.

Now Bournemouth have finally earned their first win of the new season following this summer’s promotion from the Championship, Eddie Howe’s men will be much more relaxed against Leicester City. The Cherries have been playing some fantastic football, and have a real threat in attack with the pacey Callum Wilson capable of causing trouble to any defence.

They scored four goals in their last Premier League game, but also conceded three, so their counterparts Leicester will certainly fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet. As for the visitors, the Foxes have been outstanding so far in the English top flight, winning against Sunderland and West Ham, while drawing against Tottenham.

Leicester are second in the league, and could go top of the pack depending on results if they win. Bournemouth are currently 13th in the table, but could move up into the top-half if they ca deliver on home soil
