Bournemouth welcome Watford to Dean Court in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and are favourites to come out on top given their fine home form in the division in the last 12 months, compared to the woes of the visitors on the road. Both sides are desperate to pick up their first win of the new season, but the Cherries might edge it in front of their own supporters.

As for the hosts, Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side suffered a narrow defeat against West Bromwich Albion in last week’s Premier League opener. They’ll look to bounce back quickly given their impressive home record, three wins and a draw from their last five in the top-flight. And Watford’s own form ahead of this weekend’s meeting is likely to result in the Hornets coming away empty-handed.

As for the visitors, Marco Silva’s Watford side impressively drew 3-3 with Liverpool at Vicarage Road, but haven’t managed to be a thorn in the side when they’re away from home. Currently 10th in the table, Watford have suffered seven consecutive defeats away from home, conceding 17 goals for their troubles, and William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for Bournemouth to win against Watford as a result.
