Looking to continue what is becoming a very impressive run of form, Watford will travel to Wembley on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, after crashing out of both the EFL Cup and the FA Cup in the space of four days, the pressure is really on a limited Tottenham squad. Now sat nine points adrift of Liverpool at the top of the table, they have won 17 of their 23 Premier League games and lost six times, scoring 48 and conceding 23 in return. As for their recent run of form, Spurs have lost three of their last four matches across all competitions and have also lost two of their last three Premier League matches at Wembley. It is also worth noting that they have failed to record a clean sheet in any of their last four outings.

As for the visitors, really finding an impressive run of form entering the New Year, Watford should have their sights set on landing a European spot this season. In their 23 Premier League games this season, they have won nine, drawn six and lost eight, scoring 32 and conceding 32 in return. With a points tally of 33, the Yellow and Blacks sit seventh in the table and no team outside of the top-six holds a better goal difference. As for their recent run of form, Watford are unbeaten in their last six matches across all competitions and have scored two or more goals in four of their last five.
