Competition: MLS

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/13 @ Bet 365

Two sides who have their sights firmly set on securing a play-off spot this season, New York RB will host Toronto late on Saturday night.

Starting with the hosts, while New York may have their sights set on making a late charge for the Eastern title, the Red Bulls are enduring a sluggish run of form. In their 23 MLS matches this season, they have recorded just 10 wins, four draws and nine defeats, scoring 39 and conceding 34 in return. With a points tally of 34, the hosts sit five points adrift of league leaders Philadelphia in the East, however, they do hold just a two-point buffer from slipping out of the top-seven. As for their recent run of results, losing two of their last three appearances, it is also worth noting that seven of their last nine matches across all competitions have seen both teams score within 90 minutes.

As for the visitors, continuing on what has been a bright run of form, Toronto now sit within touching distance of climbing into the play-off positions. In their 23 MLS matches this season, they have recorded nine wins, five draws and nine defeats, scoring 38 and conceding 38 in return. With a points tally of 32, the Reds sit one point adrift of the top-seven and another victory on Saturday could see them climb as high as fifth in the East. As for their recent run of results, while Toronto may have recorded just a single clean sheet in their last 13 appearances, the guests have won three of their last four MLS matchups and have scored two or more goals in each of those victories.
