Both teams to score at France vs Peru 1/1 for Thursdays World Cup matchup

While they may currently sit top of Group C, France will be calling for a much-improved performance when they face off against Peru at the Ekaterinburg Arena on Thursday.

For France, although The Blues were far from convincing in their 2-1 victory over Australia in their opening matchup in Group C, the 2016 European finalists have only lost one of their last 13 matches in all competitions and boast an attacking line-up that includes Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele. However, while France have now scored 11 in their last five, The Blues have now remarkably only managed to keep one clean sheet in their last seven.

As for Peru, although they may currently be sat bottom of Group C following their 1-0 loss to Denmark in the opening fixture, The Reds created an endless amount of chances and will still be confident against a France side somewhat out of shape. After coming through qualifying via the playoffs, Peru have continued to impress, in fact, their 1-0 loss to Denmark was their first defeat since November 2016 and they have also managed to find the net in eight times in their last 10.
