Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals at England vs Belgium 7/5 in Thursdays World Cup showdown
Competition: World Cup
Market: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals
Odds: 7/5 @ Bet 365
With both nations having already qualified for the last 16 of the World Cup, England and Belgium will battle it out for top spot in Group G in Kaliningrad. Given both sides attacking form entering the final game of the group stages, we are predicting a game with plenty of chances at both ends of the pitch.
For England, after an impressive run of form that saw them go unbeaten in their European qualifying campaign, The Whites have carried on their eye-catching form at this summers finals. Having scored eight goals and conceded twice in their two outings against Panama and Tunisia, England now sit exactly level with Belgium and a draw could see it go down to who has teh best fair play record. However, while they are yet to seal a clean sheet in the tournament, England are coming off the back of their biggest win at a tournament and Harry Kane already has two goals to his name.
As for Belgium, much like their opponents on Thursday, they too came through their 10 qualifying games without a loss on their record, they also held the best-attacking record. Now unbeaten in their last 21 matches in all competitions, winning 16 and drawing five, they have also failed to find the net just once since September 2016. While they have now conceded three in their last three, Romelu Lukaku now has four in his two matches at the tournament.
