Bosnia & Herzegovina 1/6 to see past Cyprus in Euro 2016 qualifier

Posted September 9th, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Euro 2016 qualifier
Market: Bosnia & Herzegovina to win against Cyprus
Odds: 1/6 @ Ladbrokes

A big win is expected for Bosnia & Herzegovina in tonight’s clash against Cyprus, which would mean the former would be getting off to the perfect start in their quest for Euro 2016 qualification. The Dragons boast a strong side too, with the likes of Edin Dzeko (Manchester City), Miralem Pjanic (AS Roma) and Muhamed Basic (Everton) just some of the talent in the national team.

Cyprus don’t boast any notable stars in their team, and their expectations for the Euro 2016 qualification campaign is very modest. They will hop to make life difficult and pick up some points in front of their home crowd, but they aren’t being expected to do much more than be whipping boys for the sides chasing automatic qualification.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 1/6 for Bosnia & Herzegovina to earn all three points against Cyprus, which could be in emphatic fashion too considering Cyprus have never made it to a major international tournament.
