Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made it clear he wants to bring in at least one new face during the January transfer window, and rumours are suggesting the Gunners are looking to bolster their frontline with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to give themselves the best chance of winning the Premier League title.

Currently two points clear at the summit, Arsenal racked up the most points in 2015, and have been the most consistent Premier League since this season too. They stand a real chance of domestic success, but are looking to add to their squad to withstand an injury crisis currently depleting the midfield.

Wenger also wants more pace and power in attack with the likes of Danny Welbeck expected to remain sidelined for another month at least, which could well see Arsenal making an offer for Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 18-goal man has been in great form, but Bayern still look on course to win the Bundesliga so he may consider a move to Arsenal to help them to glory. With that in mind, Betfair are giving odds of 3/1 for the Dortmund striker to make the move to the Emirates Stadium this month.
