Borussia Dortmund 1/2 to win against Sporting Lisbon in tonight’s Champions League clash

Posted November 2nd, 2016 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Champions League
Market: Dortmund to win against Sporting
Odds: 1/2 @ William Hill

Borussia Dortmund welcome Sporting Lisbon to the Signal Iduna Park in tonight’s Champions League clash, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to all but book their place in the knockouts. Dortmund have been short of wins but beat Sporting in the reverse fixture and will fancy their chances of a repeat as a result.

Hosts Dortmund find themselves second in Group F with seven points from three games, having beaten Sporting and Legia Warsaw, while drawing with Real Madrid. The Germans have been drawing games of late, but they remain unbeaten at home in the league and Europe ahead of tonight’s European encounter.

Visitors Sporting are third in Group F with three points from a possible nine, and are on the brink in the competition. The Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit have gone four games without a win in the league and Europe, having failed to win their last four away games in all competitions.

They are underdogs to get a result at the Signal Iduna Park this evening, and William Hill are giving odds of 1/2 for Borussia Dortmund to pick up all three points against Sporting Lisbon.
