Barcelona and Brazil right-back Dani Alves has been linked to a move away from the club, following a poor campaign. The 31-year-old was ever-present for the Catalan giants in 2013/14, but struggled under former Tata Martino and could be looking for a new challenge.

Back-to-back Ligue One champions Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing the well-decorated defender this summer, and Ladbrokes are giving odds of 4/6 for the experienced right-back to make the move to France.

Alves endured a poor World Cup with his country, and found himself dropped for Maicon midway through the tournament by former manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Barcelona have lost Alexis Sanchez, Cesc Fabregas, Victor Valdes, Thiago Alcantara, Carles Puyol in the last two seasons, and they are going through a transitional period. It means a host of players could follow the aforementioned through the door and PSG are hoping Dani Alves will be one of them as they’re looking to find strong competition for Gregory Van der Wiel and Christophe Jallet.
