Barcelona comfortably dispatched of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals, winning both legs, and are now waiting to see who they’ll face in the semis. The Spanish giants haven’t won the competition since 2011, so the pressure is on manager Luis Enrique to deliver in his first season in charge.

Since the Catalonians beat Manchester United in the 2011 Champions League, they have continued to fall short in the latter stages. The following season (2011/12) saw them eliminated by eventual winners Chelsea in the semi-finals, in 2012/13, Barcelona were thrashed 7-0 on aggregate to eventual winners Bayern Munich, and last season they were humbled by runners-up Atletico Madrid, who also pipped them to the league title.

Barcelona have a reputation to uphold in the competition, and now they are in the semi-finals, they have as good a chance to win the Champions League as any other side, especially when boasting nine wins from 10 in Europe this season. And as a result, William Hill are backing the Spaniards with odds of 7/4 to go all the way and win it.
