Barcelona travel to the Municipal de Ipurua to face Eibar in the Spanish La Liga tonight, and are big favourites to come out on top to narrow the deficit to second-placed Sevilla to a point, while closing the gap to leaders Real Madrid to two points.

Hosts Eibar are ninth in the Spanish La Liga table with 26 points from 18 games, coming off the back of four winless games from their last five. They have been stronger on home soil, winning three of their previous five, but have picked up only one point at the Municipal de Ipurua in their previous two ahead of tonight’s meeting.

As for the visitors, Barcelona are third in the Spanish La Liga table with 38 points this season. The Catalans have won three and drawn one of their last four games, and have the best away record in the division – 20 points from nine games. Luis Enrique’s men are unbeaten in their last 11 games and can’t afford anything less than a win to stay in the title race.
