Barcelona 2/7 to see past AS Roma tonight in the Champions League

Posted November 24th, 2015 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Champions League
Market: Barcelona to win against AS Roma
Odds: 2/7 @ William Hill

Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona host Italian Serie A title-chasers AS Roma in the Champions League this evening, and are big favourites to pick up all three points at the Nou Camp. The Catalans have been in fantastic form this season, recently coming off the back of a 4-0 win against fierce rivals Real Madrid, and visitors Roma could well be in for a difficult evening as a result.

The away side are no slouches, however. Currently second in the group ahead of tonight’s clash, Roma have picked up four points in their last two Champions League group games. The Italians drew against Barcelona in the reverse fixture, but have suffered from a leaky defence since, and they risk dropping out of a qualifying place if they lost this evening.

Barcelona have dominated the group this season, winning three and drawing one of their four games played so far, and will confirm their place in the next round with a win. William Hill are giving odds of 2/7 for the Catalans to comfortably dispatch of AS Roma tonight to seal qualification from the group.
