Barcelona have disappointed in the Champions League in the last few season, but under Luis Enrique they are hopeful of finally going all the way again. The Catalan giants have enjoyed a bright start to their La Liga campaign, winning all three league games without conceding, and now they are being backed to thrash tonight’s opponents Apoel Nicosia.

Atletico Madrid knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage last season, and the season prior it was Bayern Munich was sent them crashing out at the semis. 2011 was the last time Barcelona won the competition, so Enrique knows he must have the side faring well in Europe again.

Tonight’s game should be one-sided, with Apoel having been the whipping boys in previous seasons. William Hill are giving odds of 1/14 for the Spaniard to get all three points this evening, with Barcelona likely scoring many goals in the process.
