Austria and Netherlands 23/10 to draw tonight’s international friendly
Competition: International friendly
Market: Austria and Netherlands to draw
Odds: 23/10 @ Betfair
Austria welcome Netherlands to the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, and are hoping to come away with a positive result in preparation for this summer’s European Championships. Both sides have been inconsistent of late, however, so tonight’s clash could be a close affair.
Austria are hoping to build up some momentum ahead of Euro 2016 by putting in a much more convincing performance given their lacklustre showing against Malta. The home side have won two and lost two of their last four, so they are still somewhat shaky, but their opponents haven’t fared much better.
Netherlands have won three, lost two and drawn one of their last six games in all competitions, and are looking to capture their form ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifiers to come. They failed to reach the European Championships, but could put in a good performance as they’ve won their last two away games.
Austria won’t want to lose, however, but they might not do enough to win it either. Netherlands would settle for a draw, and Betfair are giving odds of 23/10 for the two sides to play out a stalemate as a result.
