Atletico Madrid may be the away side ahead of their Champions League second round clash against Bayer Leverkusen, but last season’s runners-up are notoriously solid in defence regardless of venue. The La Liga holders grind out results both in front of their own fans, and on their travels, and they certainly have the quality to see past Leverkusen.

Diego Simeone’s men were a surprise package to reach the final, but now many are backing the Spaniards to progress through the latter stages. They are much better than the Bundesliga opponents, but could settle for a draw.
