Looking to widen their advantage at the top of the Eastern Conference, Atlanta United will welcome Toronto the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday night.

Starting with the hosts on Saturday, after enjoying a stellar start to the new campaign, Atlanta are tipped by many to win the Eastern Conference outright. After 23 games this season, the hosts have won 14, drawn five and lost four, scoring 48 and conceding 26 in return, they now hold the best-attacking stats in either conference. With a points tally of 47, Atlanta now hold a five-point buffer over New York City FC and have continued on an impressive run of form. The Red and Blacks have now only lost one in their last seven and have also managed to find the net 10 times in their last five. While they have only recorded one clean sheet in their last five, they have been clinical in the final third.

As for Toronto, while they have now won back to back games in both the MLS and the Canadian Cup, The Reds have been drastically short of form in the Eastern Conference and the playoffs seem some way off. After 21 games this season, Toronto have won six, drawn four and lost 11, scoring 35 and conceding 39 in return. Now sat six points adrift of the playoff positions in 10th spot, they also boast an awful record on the road, Toronto have now managed to win just two of their last 12 MLS away matchup. While they have now scored 11 in their last five MLS matches, the visitors have recorded just one clean sheet in their last 10 domestic matches.
