Despite Barcelona having a commanding lead at the top of the table, the rest of the league is exceptionally tight, meaning that a single win can see a side move up the table at an alarming rate. If Bilbao can start to put together a run of wins then they can begin looking at the European places, with sixth-placed Sevilla just six points ahead of them.

Las Palmas have been struggling massively this season and they desperately need to start to win their games. After 22 games they have won five, drawn twice and lost 15, scoring 17 goals and conceding 50 times. In their last five they have won twice and lost three times, which has seen them onto 17 points. The away side are currently three points short of Levante in 17th and safety, but there have been signs of improvement, with Las Palmas winning two of their last three games.
