Aston Villa’s Paul Lambert 13/2 to be next Premier League manager to leave

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has been speculated about a lot of the last 12 months. The Midlands outfit are being tipped by many for the drop this season, which could well result in their manager losing his job.

However, it’s the appointment of Roy Keane as assistant manager that is leading many to believe Lambert could be ousted from his position in 2014/15.

Despite refuting such claims, Roy Keane looks nailed on to succeed Lambert and take the number one job at Villa in the future, and William Hill are giving odds of 13/2 for Lambert to be the next Premier League boss to exit his post.

With Keane looking to gradually get his way back into management, he’s taken number two jobs at both the Republic of Ireland and Aston Villa to learn more of the ropes before going out on his own again. He was in talks over the vacant Celtic job previously, but nothing came of the talks.
