AS Saint-Etienne and Olympique Lyonnais 12/5 to draw tonight’s French Ligue 1 clash

Competition: French Ligue 1
Market: St Etienne and Lyon to draw
Odds: 12/5 @ William Hill

AS Saint Etienne welcome Olympique Lyonnais to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in the French Ligue 1 tonight, in a game that could be too close to call given both sides are in fine form of late. Saint-Etienne seldom lose at home, but have drawn a lot of home, while Lyon have averaged a point per game in their last three overall.

Hosts AS Saint-Etienne are currently fifth in the French Ligue 1 with 33 points from 22 games, having won two and drawn two of their last five. At home, St Etienne have drawn five of 11 games at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard this season, and have an impressive defensive record in their own backyard too – conceding just six goals.

As for the visitors, Olympique Lyonnais are just one place and one point ahead of St Etienne in the division and have won four of their previous six. Lyon have shone away from home, boasting four wins from five, but they won’t have it all their own way given the two sides are neck and neck in the table.

As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 12/5 for AS Saint-Etienne and Olympique Lyonnais to draw.
