AS Roma 2/5 to win against FK Karabakh in Wednesday’s Champions League clash

Posted September 27th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Champions League
Market: Roma to win against Karabakh
Odds: 2/5 @ William Hill

AS Roma travel to the Baku National Stadium to face FK Karabakh in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to potentially go top of the table. Roma are currently two points adrift of leaders Chelsea, but could leapfrog the Blues if results go their way.

Gurban Gurbanov’s FK Karabakh side are currently bottom of Group C without a point to their name after one game, having lost their opener to Chelsea. Karabakh’s form in Europe has left a lot to be desired too, with the hosts having lost their last two Champions League outings this season.

As for the visitors, Eusebio Di Francesco’s AS Roma side find themselves third in the table with one point from one game, having drawn their opener to Atletico Madrid. Roma have been in fine form in all competitions, boasting four wins from their last five. Roma have also won their last two away games ahead of Wednesday’s meeting.

If Chelsea lost away to Atletico Madrid, Roma have a chance to go top of Group C, and the contrasting form between the Serie A outfit and Karabakh sees William Hill giving odds of 2/5 for the visitors to pick up all three points.
