In-form Monaco have a difficult game to come against fellow top-four chasers Saint-Etienne this evening, which could be a pivotal game for both sides in the title race. The home outfit stand a chance of putting pressure on the league leaders if they can see past Christophe Galtier’s side, but it won’t be easy given the form of the visitors, who are also in with a shout of the title.

Saint-Etienne are fifth in the table, and only one point behind Monaco ahead of tonight’s meeting. They have won their last three games in the league, and earned a draw against Monaco back in November. As for Leonardo Jardim’s, the fourth-placed outfit started slow this season, but have hit incredible form to have the chance to go within three points of Paris Saint-Germain at the summit.

Monaco could still be in the running in the title even if they lose or draw, as they’ll have a game in hand after the weekend, but Saint-Etienne will be tied on games with the sides around them, so they need a result.
