Arsenal’s Giroud to score against almost-relegated Norwich City
Competition: Premier League
Market: Giroud to score anytime against Norwich
Odds: 13/8 @ Betfair
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is hoping to continue his goalscoring run for the Gunners when they face relegation-threatened Norwich City today. The 18th-placed Canaries desperately need a comfortable win to stand a chance of staying up, but Arsenal want to win their final game to end the campaign with five consecutive league wins.
The French international has found his form of late for the London side, scoring three goals in his last four games. Giroud has 16 Premier League goals for the season too and will be hoping to end the campaign with another goal to cap it all off.
Betfair are giving odds of 13/8 for Giroud to score against Norwich City. The Canaries have an awful defence, conceding 12 goals in their previous six league outings. Arsenal beat Norwich 4-1 when the two sides met in October, with Giroud grabbing two assists.
With the 2014 World Cup just a month away, Giroud will want to end the season in the best form possible, as he’s in direct competition with Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema for a starting place in the France national team.
