Arsenal 6/4 to end their winless run at Tottenham’s White Hart Lane
Competition: Premier League
Market: Arsenal to win against Tottenham
Odds: 6/4 @ Ladbrokes
Tottenham & Arsenal will look to put their own respective European failings in midweek behind them as they butt heads in the Premier League this weekend at White Hart Lane.
Arsenal are now eliminated from the Champions League, but still have it all to play for in two domestic competitions – one of which is their fledgling league title hopes. They have beaten Tottenham twice this season at home in the league and FA Cup respectively, but they haven’t won away to Spurs since 2007.
With the title out of their hands, the Gunners can ill-afford to lose against their North London rivals this weekend. And Tottenham are in awful form of late, so as a result Ladbrokes are backing Arsenal to end their seven-year winless run at White Hart Lane with odds of 6/4.
But Arsene Wenger’s men do have a poor away record against the top sides themselves this season. Arsenal haven’t beaten a side away from home who are currently in the top-7 of the league this season.
The last two North London derbies have been decided by just a single goal, and this season promises to be just as close. But will Arsenal end their seven-year wait for a win at White Hart Lane?
