Arsenal 1/4 to boost top-four hopes with win against Newcastle on Monday night

Arsenal have a chance to capitalise on Everton’s defeat in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League table. The Londoners are fourth in the league, with 70 points from 35 games. Arsenal have won their last two games against West Ham United & Hull City, and are big favourites to make it three in a row when an out-of-form Newcastle side come to town.

Newcastle have lost their last five games in the league, and have lost 12 games in their last 17. Manager Alan Pardew is under intense pressure of losing his job and it doesn’t appear likely that the Magpies will get anything against the side who beat them 1-0 at St James’ Park.

Betfair are giving odds of 1/4 for Arsenal to get all three points against the North-East outfit on Monday evening which would put them in the driving seat to finish in the top-four, with Arsenal having the chance to go four points clear of fifth-placed Everton with two games still to play.
