Argentina lock horns with Chile at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey for Monday’s Copa America Centenario final, and are big favourites to come out on top this time round to snatch the crown from the holders.

Monday’s clash is a repeat of the 2015 final, which saw Chile emerge victorious, but the outcome could be a lot different given Argentina’s form ahead of their latest meeting. The Sky Blues topped Group D with nine points from three games, beating Chile in the process. They scored 10 goals, conceding only one.

In the latter stages, the finalists have beaten Venezuela and the USA in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively, and their 100% record in the tournament is something for Chile to fear. As for their opposition, Chile finished second in Group D with six points, and have beaten good sides to make it this far.

They impressively thrashed Mexico and saw past Colombia without conceding in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively, but have already lost to Argentina in the tournament. Chile fell to a 2-1 defeat to the Sky Blues in the tournament’s opener, and could well come unstuck once more.

Monday’s clash is sure to be a close affair, but William Hill are giving odds of 17/20 for Argentina to win against Chile in the 90 minutes to lift the Copa America trophy.
