Argentina, coming off the back of a fantastic World Cup campaign that saw them reach the final against Germany, have continued their fine form in their following international friendlies, and are hoping to win against Portugal tomorrow night.

Gerardo Martino’s side have picked up wins against Germany (4-2), Hong Kong (7-0) and Croatia (2-1), and are confident of victory when they come up against Fernando Santos’ men. As for Portugal, Selecção are coming off the back of a poor World Cup that saw them pick up just one win in the group stages, but they have fared better in their Euro 2016 qualifiers – 1-0 win against Denmark and a 1-0 win against Armenia.

With Portugal losing their last international friendly to France (2-1), Argentina are being backed by Betfair with odds of 17/20 to get the win tomorrow. Despite having Cristiano Ronaldo in the attack, Portugal haven’t been scoring many goals of late, rippling the net only three times in their last four games in total.
