Argentina 1/2 to qualify for the semi-finals by any means against Belgium tomorrow night

Posted July 4th, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: World Cup
Market: Argentina to qualify for the semi-finals
Odds: 1/2 @ Coral

Argentina have a very difficult match against a strong Belgium side tomorrow evening, but they are still the favourites with the bookmakers to reach the semi-finals.

Spearheaded by Lionel Messi, who has scored four goals in this summer’s tournament so far, the South American side have beaten Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran, Nigeria and Switzerland en route to the quarter-finals, but Belgium will provide them with their biggest test.

The Rode Duivels have won all of their World Cup games so far, albeit unconvincingly, with Algeria, Russia, South Korea and the USA all falling to the sword. Belgium have conceded just one goal in normal time so far in this World Cup, but they face an Argentina side averaging just shy of two goals scored per game.

As a result, Coral are backing the South Americans with odds of 1/2 as Belgium have looked even less convincing than that of the White and Sky Blues, scraping wins in every World Cup game so far.
