Angers SCO and Stade Rennais 19/10 to draw tonight’s French Ligue 1 clash

Posted February 8th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: French Ligue 1
Market: Angers and Rennes to draw
Odds: 19/10 @ William Hill

Angers welcome Stade Rennais to the Stade Jean-Bouin in the French Ligue 1 this evening, in a game that could be close to call given the two sides have been short of wins in recent weeks. Angers are fighting relegation but have picked up points of late, while Rennes have been drawing games on a regular basis which could lead to a stalemate today.

Hosts Angers are currently 18th in the French Ligue 1 table with 23 points from as many games this season, coming off the back of one win and one draw from their previous four. Angers have lost just one of their last four home games and will give Rennes something to worry about tonight as a result.

As for the visitors, Stade Rennais are ninth in the division with 31 points, having drawing four of their last five games. The away side have picked up stalemates in each of their previous three outings on the road, and could well pick up a point at the Stade Jean-Bouin.

With Angers averaging a point per game in their last five at home, while Rennes have drawn three on the bounce, William Hill are giving odds of 19/10 for the two sides to draw tonight.
