Ajax 8/13 to see past Jablonec in tonight’s Europa League qualifier
Competition: Europa League
Market: Ajax to win against Jablonec
Odds: 8/13 @ William Hill
Dutch Eredivisie runners-up Ajax face Czech top-flight side Jablonec in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier this evening, and are big favourites to come away with a lead to take into the second leg given the gulf in class between the two sides.
Ajax have been in fine form this season, winning both opening games in their domestic league, and are hoping to reach the group stages after having lost in the Champions League qualifiers earlier this month. And while having a younger side this season, they shouldn’t underestimated.
The Dutch outfit have retained key players from last season, and are fully focused to get half the job done tonight against their underdog counterparts. Jablonec aren’t well known in Europe, but the visitors made a name for themselves beating FC Copenhagen in the previous round.
Nevertheless, Ajax are expected to come out on top this evening with home advantage, and William Hill are giving odds of 8/13 for the Dutch club to win the first leg to get one foot into the group stages of the competition.
