Ajax 5/4 to win against Legia Warsaw in Thursday’s Europa League clash
Competition: Europa League
Market: Ajax to win against Legia
Odds: 5/4 @ William Hill
Ajax travel to the Polish Army Stadium to face Legia Warsaw in the first leg of the Europa League last-32 on Thursday evening, and are favourites to come out on top to take an aggregate lead into the second leg to be played at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Hosts Legia Warsaw reached the last-32 of the Europa League this season after dropping down from the Champions League group stage, having finished third on Group F with a paltry four points from a possible 18. Legia conceded 24 goals in the competition, and may struggle against a rampant Ajax who can’t stop winning of late.
As for the visitors, Ajax are boasting six wins on the bounce in all competitions ahead of their trip to the Polish Army Stadium. The Dutch Eredivisie giants have won four consecutive away games and will fancy their chances to get a result in the first leg as Legia have failed to win three of their last four in all competitions.
With hosts Legia winning just two home games in all competitions since November, Ajax are being backed by William Hill with odds of 5/4 to win at the Polish Army Stadium tonight.
