First plays second as Dutch Eredivisie outfit Ajax host Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo at the Amsterdam Arena in the Europa League tonight, and the Group G leaders are favourites to come out on top to all but book their place in the knockouts.

Ajax are currently leading the way in Group G with seven points from a possible nine, having beaten Panathinaikos and Standard Liege before drawing with Celta in the reverse fixture. With home advantage this evening, the Dutch side are expected to pick up all three points to ensure of their top spot with two games remaining.

Visitors Celta are second in the group, two points adrift of Ajax. The Spaniards have drawn two of their three games and fell short in their only away game to Standard. With both Ajax and Celta unbeaten in Group G ahead of tonight’s clash, their meeting at the Amsterdam Arena could be a tight affair.

But with Ajax boasting five consecutive home wins in the league and Europe, while Celta have failed to win five of their six away games, William Hill are giving odds of 10/11 for Ajax to see past Celta tonight in the Europa League.
