AC Milan welcome Cagliari to the San Siro in the Italian Serie A on Sunday evening, and are big favourites to pick up all three points given the contrasting starts to the season made by the two sides. Milan could go top of the table with a win this weekend, while Cagliari are hoping to move out of the relegation zone after a poor start.

As for the home side, Vincenzo Montella’s AC Milan are currently fifth in the Italian Serie A with three points from one game this season, coming off the back of a 3-0 win away to Crotone. The Rossoneri could leapfrog leaders Juventus in the table if they can dispatch of Cagliari on Sunday, and will fancy their chances given the poor start made by the visitors.

Massimo Rastelli’s Cagliari side find themselves 18th in the division without a point to their name after one game, having suffered a 3-0 defeat to defending champions Juventus. Cagliari will be desperate to claw themselves from the bottom three, but Milan are no slouches at the San Siro, especially with their new-look side assembled this summer.
