AC Milan welcome SPAL to the San Siro in the Italian Serie A on Wednesday night, and are big favourites to pick up all three points given their bright start to the new season, compared with the poor form of the visitors. Milan could go second in the table with a win this week, while SPAL are hoping to distance themselves further from the relegation zone.

As for the hosts, Vincenzo Montella’s AC Milan side are currently sixth in the Italian Serie A with nine points from four games this season, having beaten Crotone, Cagliari and Udinese. Milan could move four places up the table with a win over SPAL on Wednesday evening, and the hosts will fancy their chances given the poor form of their opponents.

As for the visitors, Leonardo Semplici’s SPAL side find themselves 14th in the division with four points from as many games, coming off the back of consecutive defeats against Inter Milan and Cagliari without scoring.
