Falkirk welcome Kilmarnock to Falkirk Stadium tonight in the first leg of the Scottish Premiership playoff final, and are big favourites to take an aggregate lead to the second leg at Rugby Park to boost their hopes of promotion to the top-flight.

The home side are the form side ahead of tonight’s clash, boasting five league wins from six in their own backyard. As for Kilmarnock, the struggling visitors have suffered three defeats from their last five games, and have picked up only one away win from six.

As a result, Falkirk are expected to come out on top in the first leg to put one foot in the Scottish Premiership ahead of the 2016/17 season. Despite missing out on the Championship title this campaign, no side lost as few games or conceded so few goals as Falkirk, and it should them in good stead to deliver.
